I have been collecting Kirby Puckett cards since 1990. I was born in Minneapolis and lived my first 5 years in South Minneapolis. I then moved to a south western suburb called Eden Prairie. Shortly after moving my father bought me a set of 1991 Topps baseball cards. I continued from there on out to sample packs of cards here and there, after not to long I began to focus on my favorite team, you guessed it, the Minnesota Twins. Not long there after I found my calling, Kirby Puckett cards. Seeing him play was most entertaining and enjoyable. His early retirement and death caused great disapointment and sadness for me. In some ways I feel that his cards are a link to my memories of his great career and the games I was lucky enough to attend.
